Living with a dog should feel like a true partnership
rooted in mutual trust, understanding, and joy.

Whether you are navigating the chaotic whirlwind of a new puppy, trying to decipher your teenager's sudden change of heart, or supporting a dog with big emotions, I am here to help.

Together, we’ll build a customized, force-free roadmap that fits seamlessly into your real life, bringing back the joy, teamwork, and relief you both deserve.

Puppy Training

Because puppyhood is a wild ride. Let's face it: puppies are adorable, but they are also tiny, land-shark hurricanes. We’ll focus on the practical stuff you actually need to survive and thrive. Together, we’ll tackle house training, biting and mouthing, polite greetings, life skills, and building real-world resilience, all while keeping it fun and force-free.

Adolescent / Adult Dogs

Regain your focus and team up again. Did your sweet puppy suddenly turn into an easily distracted teenager who seems to have forgotten you exist? Or perhaps you've welcomed a lovely adult rescue who is still figuring out how your household works.

We will build a cooperative language between you two, focusing on practical life skills like relaxed walking, settling nicely when life happens around them, and strengthening your relationship.

Fear, Reactivity, Anxiety

Compassion for the big feelings. If your dog barks, lunges, freezes, or panics when they see other dogs, strangers, or hear loud noises, they aren't trying to give you a hard time, they are having a hard time. Their nervous system is overwhelmed and they may be experiencing discomfort of some kind.

We’ll start by putting a strong management plan in place to give you and your dog a break from the stress, which does double duty by making sure your dog doesn’t keep practicing the distressing behaviors. Then we’ll look at the best way to move forward.

How it Works

Training is a collaborative journey, and I am here to support the human at the end of the leash just as much as the pup.

  • Real-Life Customization: No cookie-cutter or impossible-to-follow training regimes. You and your dog need a plan made just for you.

  • Rooted in Modern Science: I use effective, reward-based methods that protect your dog’s emotional well-being and strengthen your bond.

  • A Safe Space for You: There is zero shame or judgment here. We celebrate the small wins, laugh through the messy moments, and tackle the roadblocks together as a team.

Our Shared Philosophy

True behavior growth is an investment in trust, clarity, and moving at your dog's unique pace. Because dogs are emotional, living beings, I adhere to a strict ethical code and do not offer guaranteed "fixes" or instant overnight cures.

Instead, I promise you a compassionate, highly educated partnership that never utilizes fear, pain, force, or intimidation. Your dog's emotional safety and your peace of mind will always be the highest priority.

Let’s get training!

Once we determine that we want to move forward and work together, we’ll schedule the initial four-week program to get you and your dog off on the the right paw by building a strong foundation for both of you.

  • Initial four-week program: $1,375

  • Consultation (1.5-2 hours): We’ll look at your dog’s history, your goals and daily life, and focus on what’s going to create the highest quality of life with your dog.

  • Eight, one-hour training sessions: We meet 2x/week for four weeks, same days & times each week. You’ll receive clear instructions for practicing with your dog between sessions. (If you have a crazy schedule, we’ll look at how to make sure the training fits in.)

  • Individualized Enrichment: One of the keys to a harmonious, joyful life with your dog! You don't need endless walks or constant entertainment to have a happy, well-adjusted dog. By learning what uniquely satisfies your dog's mind and body, you can meet their needs during your normal daily routine.

The result? A calmer home, a healthier dog, and the freedom for you to take a breath and enjoy a peaceful life together.

Important Note: There may be instances where we’ll need to do an assessment to determine if your dog might be struggling with some type of discomfort that is causing or exacerbating their behavior. This is determined on a case-by-case basis. You can read about the assessment here.
